Civil Paper Service Information
For service you must provide:
1). Three copies of all papers served. We do not make copies. If a return copy is requested by the attorney, the attorney needs to provide a fourth copy and a self-addressed, stamped envelope.
2). The name and address of the person to be served.
3). Proof of paid service fees or a check for payment of the requested service.
Order your legal papers as follows:
You may bring your papers for service to the Madison County Sheriff’s Department Civil Division (Monday – Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m., excluding holidays) or send them to: Madison County Sheriff’s Department Attn: Civil Process 16 E. 9th Street, Suite 305, Anderson, IN 46016. We do not accept emails or faxes for service papers.
