The Madison County Sheriff’s Department Civil Division is located inside the Madison County Government Center at 16 E 9th Street, Suite 305, Anderson, IN 46016. The Civil Division serves subpoenas, protective orders, legal papers, and court orders issued by the Madison County Courts as well as by other local, state, and federal agencies and attorneys. This division is also responsible for performing evictions, writs of assistance, and replevins. The division collects delinquent state income/business taxes and conducts Sheriff’s Sales on foreclosed properties.
